Sample Collector (Newcastle/North East)

We are a well-established, award-winning company, based in Warrington, delivering drugs, alcohol and DNA testing services to the legal community, members of the public and companies across the UK. We now need an experienced sample collector.

The main duties of this role are to collect biological samples from sample donors (including mouth swabs, hair, blood, urine and breath) under chain of custody conditions.

Person Requirement:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork without errors
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent customer interaction
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Awareness of hygiene techniques
  • Full UK driving licence, willing to travel at short notice, with full access to own vehicle, roadworthy and fully insured for business use
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Phlebotomy skills desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of chain of custody procedures desirable but not essential

Telesales Executive

  • Cold-calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Closing sales over the phone.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements, and presenting appropriately to make a sale.

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.

Marketing Executive

We are a well-established, award-winning company, based in Warrington, delivering drugs, alcohol and DNA testing services to the legal community, members of the public and companies across the UK. We now need to add a Marketing Executive to our growing team, to support the Sales and Marketing Director in the implementation of the marketing strategy.

Job Purpose

To market products by developing and implementing campaigns and events, maintaining promotional materials and databases and ensuring relevant social media is preset in relevant sectors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creation of marketing campaigns and activities to support the Vision
  • Management of all company events, conferences, activities and campaigns
  • Drafting of all key publications and promotional material
  • Managing the process of distribution of all company publications, literature and content
  • Manage content of all technical literature, images, PR and promotional materials to ensure up to date, relevant and in line with quality standards
  • Responsibility for co-ordination of the company website with web designer and Digital Marketing Manager
  • Responsible for social media presence on all relevant platforms in order to promote products and services
  • Identify opportunities and activities to promote the company, its products and services
  • Competitor analysis
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing teams in all aspects of research, production,  implementation and evaluation of marketing content

Sales Executive

On offer is a salary of £18K and OTE around £28K, with excellent career progression opportunities in this growing business.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
  • maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • gathering market and customer information
  • challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
  • reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements

Retentions Executive

We are a well-established, award-winning company, based in Warrington, delivering drugs, alcohol and DNA testing services to the legal community, members of the public and companies across the UK. Our sales and customer service team is expanding and we now need to recruit a Retention Executive to help grow our work with solicitors across the UK.

Main duties include:

  • Implementing the customer contact plan as set down by the Sales and Marketing team
  • Making outbound calls to legal professionals
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
  • Upselling and cross selling AlphabioLabs’ products to customers
  • Building, developing and maintaining professional working relationships with existing customers via telephone calls and emails
  • Building client loyalty through excellent service and attention to clients’ needs
  • Undertaking market and competitor analysis.
  • Evaluating customer survey data and visiting selected customers to establish their satisfactions levels with Alphabiolabs’ services.
  • Upselling and cross selling AlphabioLabs’ products to customers
  • Accurately and promptly documenting details of all customer communications
