Alpha BioLabs Ltd is accredited by the Ministry of Justice to carry out parentage tests as directed by the civil courts in England and Wales under section 20 of the Family Law Reform Act 1969.
We also abide by the Code of Practice and Guidance on Genetic Paternity Testing Services to ensure that we provide testing in an accurate, confidential and ethical manner. As part of this, identification of the individuals being tested is carried out in compliance with the Family Law Reform Act 1969.
Our accredited procedures conform to the guidelines set out by the International Society of Forensic Genetics (ISFG) and the voluntary Code of Practice and Guidance on genetic paternity testing services in the UK 2001. We also subscribe to the Good Practice Guide on Paternity Testing Services 2008.
