AlphaBiolabs’ Anna Leaver receives High Sheriff of Cheshire Award

A member of the AlphaBiolabs team has been honoured with a top award for outstanding work in her local community of Lymm in Cheshire.

Anna Leaver is one of the driving forces behind the ‘Leave No One Behind in Lymm’ (LNOBIL) campaign, ensuring that vulnerable people in the community have received weekly meals and welfare visits over the past 12 months.

LNOBIL was set up by a group of Lymm residents at the start of the first lockdown, with the goal of helping vulnerable individuals access essential items and services. Since March last year, hundreds of food parcels and more than a thousand meals have been distributed within the community, with Anna being a key member of the hard-working team.

In recognition of her significant contribution and ongoing support of the project, Anna has just been awarded the High Sheriff of Cheshire’s Award for Community Service.

Anna was also instrumental in organising the AlphaBiolabs 2020 12 Days of Christmas campaign, where the company donated £100 to each of 12 Trussell Trust foodbanks around the country in the run-up to Christmas.
