AlphaBiolabs supports vulnerable families with 12 Days of Christmas campaign

The festive season is here, and we are pleased to announce that AlphaBiolabs will once again be supporting vulnerable families across the UK with our 12 Days of Christmas campaign.

As in previous years, we are making donations across 12 days in December to Trussell Trust food banks nationwide, with food banks in Warrington, Liverpool, Blackpool, Leeds, Newcastle upon Tyne, Glasgow, Cardiff, Birmingham, Coventry, North London, and South London benefitting from donations.

All locations – which are also home to AlphaBiolabs walk-in centres – will receive a £200 monetary contribution.

Today (7 December), as part of the national initiative, members of the AlphaBiolabs team also made an in-person donation of food items to Warrington Food Bank, the closest to our testing laboratories.

But that’s not all – as part of the 12 Days of Christmas campaign, we are also collecting toys and making a £200 monetary donation to Mission Christmas, a nationwide initiative run by grant-giving charity Cash for Kids, which helps disadvantaged children across the UK.

Giving Back to local communities

At AlphaBiolabs, giving back to the local communities in which we work is hugely important to us.

However, our fundraising efforts are not just reserved for Christmas.

Since April 2021, we have raised an amazing £60,000 for four incredible charities, as part of our Giving Back campaign.

During this time, we have been donating £5 for every legal instruction received to four charity partners that do fantastic work in communities across the UK: Nacoa, NYAS, TGP Cymru and SFAD.

Each of these charities shares our values, providing support to vulnerable children and families affected by a range of issues that we are familiar with as a result of our work in the legal sector, including alcohol and drug misuse.

Each charity has received £15,000 to date, with the money being used to fund a wide range of local and national initiatives, including the operation of crucial helplines.

Through our charitable contributions, we are proud to be able to provide extra support to those who need it, during the festive season and beyond.
