DNA testing in Surrey

AlphaBiolabs is bringing rapid DNA testing to the South East of England. A network of sample collectors is available to collect DNA samples from an address of your choice. This could be your home, place of work, or anywhere else convenient. There is also the option of Walk in Centres in Clapham and Camden Town.

A range of both peace of mind and legal DNA testing services are available including paternity, maternity, sibling, aunt/uncle, grandparent, Y chromosome and zygosity (twin). A non-invasive prenatal paternity test can also be arranged to determine the paternity of a baby before birth.

DNA tests where and when you need them

Peace of Mind DNA tests can be bought online and mailed direct to your home, or accessed at the Walk in Centres. Full instructions on how to take the samples are included in the testing kits. Mouth swabs just need to be rubbed on the inside of a cheek to collect buccal cells. When the samples are received back in the UK-based laboratory, test results can be made available the same day or next working day. This rapid DNA testing service won AlphaBiolabs the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Legal DNA testing fit for purpose

DNA testing for legal purposes, such as for immigration, can also be arranged with our sample collectors or at the Walk in Centres to ensure strict chain of custody.

Both Walk in Centres are staffed by highly experienced sample collectors who understand the importance of confidentiality, accuracy and sample integrity. Legal test results are recognised and admissible to UK courts, UK Passport Office, the Ministry of Justice and the UK Visas and Immigration service.
