AlphaBiolabs is pleased to announce that it has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation!
Our efficient DNA testing service offers highly accurate results the next working day as standard. This unique world-first service has been recognised by the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise which are regarded as the UK’s most prestigious business awards.
The awards showcase the outstanding achievements by British companies annually and we are proud to be recognised for our commitment in pushing the boundaries of science to provide a unique unrivalled service.
Most DNA testing laboratories have a typical turnaround time of between three to five working days and sometimes can be even longer. However, at AlphaBiolabs, we provide our clients with their results the very next working day as standard, making us the fastest DNA testing company in the world.
This outstanding achievement is testament to the dedication and commitment of our DNA team who, led by Richard Bellis, questioned scientific convention and worked diligently to create the service we provide today. Importantly, our new streamline methods have been recognised by UKAS under our ISO17025 accreditation and found to be scientifically valid.
All of our DNA relationship testing is carried out in-house at our fully-accredited UK-based laboratory and we are the first UK based testing laboratory to offer a paternity test using 24 markers for increased accuracy.
We work with members of the public, family law firms, courts and local authorities, providing them with legal DNA tests which can be used as evidence during court proceedings. AlphaBiolabs also carries out tests for the Child Support Agency and the UK Visas and Immigration Service.
We also offer peace of mind DNA tests for members of the public who want to end doubts they may have concerning the paternity of a child. In addition to paternity, we are able to establish other biological relationships through our testing services including Sibship, Grandparentage and Aunt/Uncle testing.
AlphaBiolabs was chosen to receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation on the Queen’s 90th birthday on April 21 2016.
