Child protection is at the heart of everything we do. And with this in mind we have worked diligently to establish how we can still assist you during this coronavirus crisis. 

We will of course support your decision to wait until restrictions are lifted and will put your case on hold. However, if you cannot wait, we think we may have a solution. 

  • Assuming your client or sample donor are happy for the collection to still take place, we have equipped a select number of highly experienced sample collectors with N95 facemasks and gloves.
  • For additional protection, we will also provide your client or sample donor with a N95 mask and gloves to be used during the appointment.
  • Both these measures are in addition to us applying extra safety protocols during the sample collection process.

We have also upgraded the safety procedures in our laboratories. To fulfil important cases, all samples will be processed in our recently installed Class 2 Safety Cabinets to protect our scientists. 

Please note that until this crisis is over, we will be operating a restricted laboratory service. Therefore, it is possible that you may experience a delay of up to 7 days depending on when samples arrive at the laboratory.  Currently, our in-house DNA testing service remains fully operational with next day turnaround times as usual.
