Where can I get a SCRAM bracelet?

One of our professionally trained sample collectors can install and fit the SCRAM bracelet to the ankle of your client at any convenient address. We also have a network of 11 Walk in Centres across the UK where SCRAM CAM® bracelets can be fitted, removed and data downloaded completely free of charge.

The testing results are reported according to how often the Instructing Party requires a report. If the wireless base station is installed at the individual’s home, the data can be automatically transferred twice a day providing the wearer is within the range of the base unit at the appointed times allocated. The base stations are set to communicate at times when the donor would be at home (usually late night and early morning). Alternatively, the data stored in the bracelet could be downloaded during a visit to the Walk in Centre, at least every 30 days.

Why SCRAM testing?

Unlike hair strand analysis, which can build up a historic profile of excessive alcohol consumption over a period of up to 12 months, SCRAM CAM® is the first of its kind to detect the drinking of alcohol in real-time. As such, the frequency and pattern of alcohol consumption can be easily shown.

SCRAM CAM® makes it easier for clients to adhere to low or no-alcohol schemes because samples are taken on a continuous basis, every half-an-hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The state-of-the-art technology can differentiate between very low alcohol consumption (such as 1–2 units) and environmental alcohol sources. The data speak for themselves: on any given day, 99.4% of all participants are completely sober and compliant while being monitored with SCRAM CAM®.
