Paternity testing in Liverpool (Peace of Mind)
Our Peace of Mind DNA paternity test is designed to help determine the paternity of a child. We offer the UK’s fastest DNA paternity test with results either the same working day or the next day. It is beneficial to also provide a sample from the mother; however, if necessary we can perform the DNA testing without a sample from the mother.
Sibling DNA testing in Liverpool (Peace of Mind)
Our sibling DNA testing is used to establish whether or not a brother and a sister have the same father – or the same father and mother – and has an accuracy rate of 100%. We ask for the inclusion of the mother’s DNA sample in this testing procedure as this usually increases the accuracy rate. We use statistical analysis to evaluate the amount of DNA shared between the individuals tested to deduce a biological relationship.
Auntship DNA testing in Liverpool (Peace of Mind)
Aunt DNA testing (also known as an Avuncular test) is often needed when the alleged father or mother is deceased or unwilling to participate in the testing process and the alleged aunt of the child would like to establish their biological relationship to the child.
Uncle DNA testing in Liverpool (Peace of Mind)
Uncle DNA testing (also known as an Avuncular test) is often needed when the alleged father or mother is deceased or unwilling to participate in the testing process and the alleged uncle of the child would like to establish their biological relationship to the child.
Grandparent DNA testing in Liverpool (Peace of Mind)
Grandparent DNA tests can be used to establish a biological relationship between an individual and one or more of their alleged grandparents.
One of the main reasons that this test is performed is when a child’s alleged father is unavailable for paternity testing and the child’s grandparents want to know whether the child is truly related to them.
DNA maternity testing in Liverpool (Peace of Mind)
A DNA maternity test is suitable if you want to demonstrate the existence of a biological relationship between an alleged mother and a child. The DNA maternity test is similar in principle to a DNA paternity test.
Y Chromosome DNA testing in Liverpool (Peace of Mind)
A Y chromosome test is used in cases where alleged male relatives wish to confirm they share a common paternal line. All male children inherit their Y chromosome from their father; these children will in turn pass the Y chromosome inherited from their father to their male children when they become fathers. This inheritance pattern means that males coming from the same paternal line will always share the same Y chromosome. Furthermore, the low mutation rate of the Y chromosome makes this test all the more reliable.
DNA zygosity testing (twin DNA testing) in Liverpool (Peace of Mind)
Zygosity testing is used to determine whether multiple children from the same birth (twins, triplets, quadruplets, etc.) are genetically identical or not. If siblings are identical, they are known as monozygotic. This means that they were formed from a single fertilised egg, which went on to split into separate embryos. It also means that their DNA is exactly the same.

The Walk in Centre is in Dale Street in Liverpool city centre. It is located in the heart of the city’s thriving business sector, just 500 m from Liverpool Town Hall, and a 2-minute walk from Moorfields railway station.
The city of Liverpool is based in the North West of England and has an estimated population of around 485,000. The nickname for people from Liverpool is Scouser, which is thought to come from the name of a local stew called scouse. Scouse also refers to the Liverpool accent and dialect.
Liverpool is a well-known tourist destination, thanks largely to the popularity of The Beatles and its two Premier League football clubs: Liverpool and Everton. The world-famous Grand National horse race also takes place annually at Aintree Racecourse towards the north of the city.
Liverpool’s history can be traced back to 1190 when it was then known as ‘Liuerpul’, thought to mean a pool or creek with muddy water. The borough of Liverpool was founded by royal charter in 1207, but it remained a small settlement until its trade with Africa and the West Indies (which included the slave trade). Liverpool’s first wet dock, opened in 1715, was the catalyst for the city’s continued expansion. The opening of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1830 saw the population increase. Irish immigrants further swelled the population, and by 1851 25% of the city’s inhabitants was Irish-born.
The city celebrated its 800th anniversary in 2007 and the next year was named European Capital of Culture together with Stavanger in Norway. Several areas of the city centre have been granted World Heritage Site status by UNESCO, including Pier Head, Albert Dock and William Brown Street. Today the city is home to the oldest Black African community in the UK and the oldest Chinese community in Europe.
