FAQs from this webinar
What is the timescale for an alcohol event to be verified by with SCRAM?
We ask that you allow up to 5 working days for an alcohol event to be confirmed. This is so we can ensure the reading has not been affected by any environmental factors.
Do clients need access to Wi-Fi for the SCRAM base station?
No, the base station works off a SIM card.
How can you tell the difference between an alcohol related product and a real event with SCRAM?
There are certain conditions which a consumption alert must meet in order for the event to be confirmed as a drinking event. This is checked and verified by our reporting team.
With SmartMobile, can you mix the type of testing e.g. scheduled but also some on-demand testing too?
Yes you can use all 3 types – scheduled, random and on-demand – if you think that is in the best interests of the client. We can show you how each type works during training, after which you can select the most appropriate testing programme for that client.
Is there a process or charge if a client loses either device?
Yes, the client is responsible for the safe keeping of the device.
Is there a similar option for drug testing?
At the moment this technology is only available for alcohol monitoring, however other devices such as urine or oral fluid testing are available for drug detection over short periods of time.
