Alprazolam
Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and anxiety caused by depression.
Amphetamine
Amphetamines are synthetic stimulants. Their current medical use is limited, with only Dexedrine (dexamphetamine sulphate) currently available for use in the treatment of narcolepsy.
Cannabis
Cannabis is a naturally occurring drug made from parts of the cannabis plant. It is smoked or eaten and gives a euphoric feeling.
Cocaine
Cocaine is a powerfully addictive stimulant drug made from the leaves of the coca plant native to South America. It produces short-term euphoria, energy, and talkativeness in addition to potentially dangerous physical effects like raising heart rate and blood pressure.
Codeine
Codeine is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic. Codeine is used to treat mild to moderately severe pain.
Diazepam
Diazepam is a benzodiazepine (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peens). It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety.
Dihydrocodeine
Dihydrocodeine is used to control moderate types of pain. It works by binding to certain receptors (called opioid receptors) in your brain, which reduces the pain that you feel. It is normally found in pill form.
Ecstasy (MDMA)
MDMA (Ecstasy) is an illegal synthetic drug, which acts as a hallucinogen and stimulant. It was originally developed as a diet aid, but was also used experimentally during counselling.
GHB
GHB (gamma hydroxybutyrate) is a depressant drug that slows down the messages travelling between the brain and body.
Heroin
Heroin is a drug made from morphine, which is extracted from the opium poppy and is a very strong painkiller.
Ketamine
Ketamine, categorized as a “dissociative anesthetic,” is used in powdered or liquid form as an anesthetic, usually on animals. It can be injected, consumed in drinks, snorted, or added to joints or cigarettes.
Mephedrone
Mephedrone is a stimulant drug belonging to the chemical family of the ‘cathinones’ group of drugs. Cathinones are a group of drugs related to amphetamine compounds like speed and ecstasy.
Methadone
Methadone is used as a pain reliever and as part of drug addiction detoxification and maintenance programs and is only available from certified pharmacies.
Methamphetamine
Methamphetamine is a white crystalline drug that people take by snorting it (inhaling through the nose), smoking it or injecting it with a needle.
Morphine
Morphine is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic. Morphine is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Short-acting morphine is taken as needed for pain.
Steroids
Anabolic steroids are synthetic hormones which can boost the body’s ability to produce muscle and prevent muscle breakdown.
Temazepam

Tramadol
Tramadol is a type of strong opioid. It works on your nervous system and brain to reduce the way you feel pain.
Zolpidem & Zopiclone
Zolpidem and Zopiclone are used for a short period of time to help sleeping difficulties. It reduces the time it takes to fall asleep and increases the length of time spent sleeping.
