AlphaBiolabs supports vulnerable families with annual 12 Days of Christmas campaign

The business – a leading provider of DNA, drug, alcohol, and health testing services in the UK – is making donations across 12 days in December to Trussell Trust food banks and charitable causes nationwide.
As part of the initiative, an in-person donation has been made to Warrington Foodbank at Tanning Court (7 December), with members of the AlphaBiolabs team delivering food items, and a cash donation of £200.
Also benefitting from £200 donations are food banks in Liverpool, Blackpool, Leeds, Newcastle upon Tyne, Glasgow, Cardiff, Birmingham, Coventry, North London, and South London, all of which are locations of AlphaBiolabs walk-in centres for DNA, drug, and alcohol testing.
The company is also collecting toys and making a £200 monetary donation to Mission Christmas, a national initiative run by grant-giving charity Cash for Kids, which helps disadvantaged children across the UK.
However, Christmas is not the only time that AlphaBiolabs has given back this year.
Since April 2021, the company has donated £5 for every legal instruction received to four charity partners, raising an incredible £60,000 to date.
Benefitting from the donations are Nacoa, which supports people affected by their parent’s drinking, the National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS), TGP Cymru, which works with vulnerable children, young people and families across Wales, and Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs (SFAD).
Each of the four charities has therefore received £15,000, with the money being used to fund a range of local and national initiatives, including the operation of crucial helplines.
