Why take a Single DNA Genetic Profile Test?
DNA contains each person’s unique genetic code. As well as being an accurate way of proving biological relationships, DNA profiling is becomingly increasingly popular for individual use.
The information contained within a single DNA genetic profile Technical Data Sheet specifies which alleles are present at which short tandem repeat (STR) loci.

How we do our DNA testing
We utilise the most up-to-date DNA testing technology to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our genetic testing. We examine up to 45 STR markers (loci) in each DNA sample and retest all our exclusion results.
We send your single genetic profile test kit direct to an address of your choice using discreet packaging.
Our single genetic DNA profile test kit includes mouth swabs to be rubbed gently and painlessly on the inside of the cheek, so it is not a problem if anyone involved is scared of needles.
Once your DNA sample arrives back at our UK-based, state-of-the-art laboratory we will analyse your sample and extract your DNA ready for reporting.

How do same day DNA test results work?
Once you have received your DNA kit and taken your cheek swab samples, you will need to post the samples back to our laboratory using the self-addressed envelope provided in the kit. To ensure Same Day Results, your DNA samples need to reach our laboratory by 10am. For this reason, we strongly advise you use the special delivery before 9am service from Royal Mail when returning your DNA samples to our laboratory.
Your DNA test results will then be emailed to you from 4.30pm the same day.
How do next day DNA test results work?
Once you have received your DNA kit and taken your cheek swab samples, you will need to post the samples back to our laboratory using the self-addressed envelope provided in the kit. To ensure Next Day Results, your DNA samples need to reach our laboratory by 10am.
