AlphaBiolabs’ latest Giving Back donation supports men’s mental health charity Sean’s Place

A £500 donation from AlphaBiolabs is helping support men’s mental health and wellbeing in Sefton and the wider Liverpool area, thanks to the company’s unique charity initiative that empowers legal professionals to give back to community causes.  

For every testing instruction received from family law and social work professionals, AlphaBiolabs enters the customer’s name into its bimonthly Giving Back draw to ‘win’ a £500 donation for their chosen charity.

Victoria Hardy, a Legal Assistant at Sefton Council, was randomly selected in the company’s latest draw and nominated Sean’s Place to receive the donation.

Based in Sefton, Sean’s Place offers free, practical, and emotional support to men who are struggling with their mental health, providing a welcoming and non-judgemental environment to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.

The charity runs a varied programme of one-to-one and group sessions focused on confidence building, talking therapies, creative and physical activities, and skills development – all designed to help men take positive steps toward better mental health and personal growth.

Victoria said: “The work they do at Sean’s Place speaks to circumstances close to my heart, and I’m proud to support them with this donation via AlphaBiolabs.”
